Believers, have you felt in recent seasons that there’s been an unprecedented level of wrestling against disjointedness, fragmentation and disharmony among your mind, your soul and spirit? That it has required a different kind of effort for your Christ mind to align with your flesh and with your spirit man? If so, by now you’ve probably also discovered that you’re not alone; the enemy has been pulling out all the stops to distract, distort, disrupt, discourage, divide, and dismember. Going after The Body by sowing strife and disunity (it is the season of warfare and strife) and where that fails, going after individual members of The Body to create internal strife and disharmony (which of course will have its own cascading destructive impacts).

You’ve heard it said that the battle is for our minds. I think there’s more to it. I think the battle is not only for the mind, the flesh and the spirit, but to disrupt the unity, synchronicity, and synthesis among them. The days are evil and the battle to kill our flesh, steal our soul and destroy our spirit is increasingly mercenary. Let’s be on our guard (guarding our hearts and minds: ”Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”  Provers 4:23) as foreign, would-be assassins congregate, converge, collude and attempt to infiltrate sacred space. No new trickery that you won’t recognize here. It’s the same game; exploit fear, divide and conquer to break alignments and unity within our redeemed man, and forces us out of alignment with The Father, The Christ, and The Holy Spirit in order to fulfill the ultimate futile blood-thirsty quest – assume the place of The Godhead bodily. 

So then, what is the antidote? Immersion – into our identity in Christ Jesus, into The Blood of the Lamb and into The Word of His testimony. In owning the truth which He has written on our heart and confessing it with our mouth – Jesus, The Christ is Lord:

We can profess and proclaim that He has not given us a spirit of fear but (a spirit) of Power standing against death; of love standing against theft of our soul, and of a sound Mind (The Christ Mind) standing against destruction of the spirit.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:6-8

Our redeemed spirit man stands. It doesn’t battle because the battle doesn’t belong to us; it belongs to The Christ and He’s already won it. My prayer is that The Holy Spirit will release us from any battle that’s attempting to illegally cling to us, occupy our mind, heart, soul and the space in between. The enemy is defeated and the battle already won in the mighty name of Yeshua, and we receive the manifestation now with thanksgiving. Amen.
